Name of Artifact: Teacher Interview Project
Date: October 2014
Class: Introduction to Teaching (EDUC101)
Description:
For this project I interviewed two teachers who I thought I would benefit the most from their teaching experiences and how they teach their students. One teacher is a lead teacher who really tackles everything needed to be done for his particular grade and even other responsibilities in the school. The other teacher really connects with the community and families to ensure a better learning environment.
Rationale:
For Standard #10, Leadership and Collaboration, I am sharing how Mr. Zeh and Mrs. Wakeland show leadership roles within their particular grade levels and other ares within their school. I am also pointing out how they collaborate with families, colleagues and the community as a whole in their profession as a teacher.
Name of Artifact: Teacher Toolbox
Date: September 2014
Class: EDUC 201: Technology in Education
Description:
For this assignment I identified my preferred teaching and learning strategies to use for the grade I would like to teach. I also included some of the technologies I thought would work best with those strategies. I then researched and chose three technologies I thought teachers would benefit from using.
Rationale:
To document my understanding of Standard #10, Leadership and Collaboration, I assumed a leadership role of taking control over what technologies I thought would best suit a classroom and the many learning strategies of one. I collaborated with my students in order to find out the technologies that would best suit them and their own learning strategies.
