Description:

For this assignment, I observed a child the age of four to determine the milestones he had achieved so far. I described physical, motor, emotional, social, language and cognitive development areas.

Rationale:

To document my understanding of Standard #6, Assessment, I researched milestones that a four year old should have reached and tested the subject on them. I monitored the learner's progress throughout the milestones to see what kind of growth they would achieve.

Class: EDUC 224: Introduction to Scientific Inquiry

Description:

For this assignment I worked with a group of people to determine what effect Alka-Seltzer has with inflating a balloon. My group and I did three rounds, with differing variables to determine the effects of Alka-Seltzer.

Rationale:

To document my understanding of Standard #6, Assessment, I went through multiple methods of assessment to get to my understanding of the material. I was able to understand Alka-Seltzer tablets in their entirety which helped understanding of the whole project. I had to use decision making in order to determine what sites I should use
